Welcome to X-Page

Welcome to my X-Page.  We’re just getting started here so there’s not a ton up right now.  To start out I am listing the main X-teams and all their members (including issues joined and left team) and also adding the major crossover events that the X-books have been involved in (X-centric crossovers only so no Secret Invasion but there will be Onslaught.  I’m definitely looking forward to getting some feedback and suggestions from everyone.  Send any comments to golddustboi09@aol.com.

Crossovers

Asgardian Wars
Synopsis - This was a two part story.  First was the X-men’s team-up with Alpha Flight against the Norse God Loki.  Loki gave super powers to normal humans (including wife of X-men leader Cyclops, Madelyne Pryor), but the cost as it turns out was their own imagination and creativity.  The combined efforts of both teams defeated Loki and the new super powers were removed.

The second part was a crossover between the X-men and the New Mutants.  As revenge for his previous defeat by the X-men, Loki kidnapped Storm and the New Mutants (thinking that they were the X-men because they were with Storm) and transported them to Asgard.  Storm was offered a mystical hammer like Thor’s and the New Mutants ended up scattered throughout Asgard space and time due to the Enchantress disturbing one of Magik’s stepping discs.  Eventually the New Mutants are reunited and the rest of the X-men come to their rescue.  The New Mutants and the X-men must face Storm as the Goddess of Thunder and are able to bring her back to her senses.  The two teams defeat Loki once again, and (despite being offered a chance to stay) opt to return to Earth.

Mutant Massacre
Synopsis - The Marauders invade the Morlock Tunnels and begin slaughtering every mutant that they find.  The X-men, X-Factor, New Mutants, Thor, Daredevil and Power Pack all get involved to stop the mass murder, and are successful but at a very high cost.  Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, and Colossus are mortally inured, Angel’s wings are irreparably damaged, which leads to his transformation into Archangel, and many of the Morlocks are lost.

Fall of the Mutants

Uncanny X-men – The X-men travel to Dallas to find Forge and Storm, and they find themselves caught in the middle of an age old battle between Forge and the Adversary.  After a fevered battle with Freedom Force, during which Destiny’s mask was fused to Dazzler’s face by Spiral’s magic, the X-men retreat inside Eagle Tower, the former home of Forge.  In the end, the X-men (including a newly repowered Storm and Madelyne Pryor) sacrifice themselves to Forge’s spell so he can seal the Adversary away.  Roma resurrects the 9 X-men and tells them that the world thinks they are dead and they are now invisible to all electronic sensors.

X-men Tie-in – While on their way to Dallas in the Blackbird, Wolverine fights the Grey Hulk

X-Factor – With the Mutant Registration Act looming, X-Factor must face Apocalypse and his Horsemen including the newly unveiled Death (the thought dead former X-Factor member Angel).  Early in the confrontation Caliban, a former Morlock, defects from the team and willingly joins Apocalypse.  During the following battle, Apocalypse’s massive ship spins out of control destroying large portions of New York City.  Despite Apocalypse’s hold being broken on him, Angel flees after Apocalypse’s defeat and escape.  X-Factor begins using Apocalypse’s alien ship as a headquarters.

X-Factor Tie-ins – Captain America (as the Captain) fights Famine, with Falcon and D-man, in the Great Plains.  Daredevil and Black Widow battle against looting and riots around New York in response to Apocalypse’s attack.  The Power Pack battles Pestilence and she infects Katie before being crushed by the falling Empire State Building, but using their combined powers they heal Katie.  After the X-Factor parade, the team fights Dr Doom with the Fantastic Four.

New Mutants – The New mutants travel to Bird-Brain’s home and discover his creator, Ani-mator, creating and torturing animals.  The mutant hating Right, Cameron Hodge’s organization, attacks then and when one of the agents tries to shoot Wolfsbane, Doug jumps into the path of the bullet and is killed.  The Right and Ani-mator are defeated when Magik transports them to Limbo.  In the aftermath, the New Mutants consider themselves graduated and begin wearing the own individual costumes, and Magneto, appalled at the humans behavior, abandons Xavier’s teaching once again and starts down the path to being a villain once more.

Inferno

X-terminators – The X-terminators (Rusty, Skids, Rictor, Artie and Leech) take on the opening salvo of Inferno as they welcome new member Taki (Wiz Kid) into their ranks.  As they rush to rescue the infants who were kidnapped by N’astirh to open the never ending portal to Limbo, they team up with another junior mutant team, the New Mutants!

New Mutants – The New Mutants return to New York to find the city under siege by demons from Limbo, a dimension supposedly ruled by their teammate Magik.  As they battle their way through an ever increasingly possessed city, they are joined by the X-terminators in a race to break the spell opening the portal between worlds and save the children being used to cast it.  Meanwhile, Magik is forced to fight her own hordes and the ever increasing evil inside her as she prepares to ascend to her final Darkchild form.  In the end the New Mutants and the X-terminators use the Limbo stepping discs to rescue the baby Illyana and, confronted with her own childish vision, throws her Soulsword through the portal, closing it.  Her brother, the X-man Colossus shows up and finds her sister’s crushed armor, and when he tears it open he finds her 6 year old sister, as she was before she ever went to Limbo.

Uncanny X-men & X-Factor – The two mutant teams fight their way through the demonic New York City brought upon by Cyclops’ ex-wife Madelyne Pryor, now the evil Goblin Queen.  Her plan is to use her own son as a sacrifice to keep the portal to Limbo (see New Mutants) open forever.  In the process she and the combined X-men discover Mr. Sinister, a geneticist who has been following the Summers and Grey family lines and manipulating them for years.  He reveals her origin as a clone of Jean Grey that he grew in a lab and then placed in Scott Summers life.  He also explained that it was at the exact moment of the Phoenix’s death that Madelyne awoke in her incubator.  This revelation drove Madelyne even further insane and she defeated Sinister’s trap and her creator.  Back in New York, the combined efforts of the X-men and X-Factor defeat the Goblin Queen and her spell as well as the her demon N’astirh.  Following Mdelyne’s death, the effects of Inferno on the city and its inhabitants reverted to normal, and in a last bid for revenge Madelyne’s mind linked to Jean’s and tried to take Jean with her into death.  Using Psylocke’s telepathy they prevented Jean’s death, incorporating Madelyne’s and the Phoenix’s memories into Jean’s own.  The two teams go after Mr. Sinister back at Xavier’s mansion, which has been deserted for months and are blasted unconscious when the mansion explodes, all except Longshot and Beast.  In a final battle against Mr. Sinister and his Marauder Malice (in the body of Lorna Dane, the X-man Polaris), Mr. Sinister was supposedly disintegrated by Cyclops’ optic blast, although this was later proved to be false.
